Ingredients
1) Ground nuts - Half cup2) Onion - 1
3) Tomatoes - 2
4) Ginger - 1/2 inch
5) Garlic - 3 cloves
6) Methi seeds - a pinch
7) Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon
8) Soya chunks - 1 cup
9) Butter - 1 inch
10) Oil - 2 table spoons
11) Water
12) Ginger garlic paste - 1 table spoon
13) Turmeric powder - 1/4 table spoon
14) Red chilli powder - 1 and 1/2 table spoon
15) Cumin powder - 1 table spoon
16) Coriander powder - 1table spoon
17) fennel powder - 1/2 table spoon
18) Garam masala powder - 1/2 table spoon
19) Salt to taste
Procedure
1) Firstly soak the soya chunks and keep it a side.
2) Then we have to boil the groundnuts for 10 miniutes until the ground nuts become soft.
3) Then cut the onion and tomatoes in big pices and cut the ginger and garlic into small pieces.
4) Take two table spoons of oil into a pan and heat it.
5) Add diced tomatoes,onions,ginger and garlic pieces and methi seeds to it.
6) Cook them until they are soft.
7) Once they are soft turn off the stove and let it cooldown.
8) Then grind the ground nuts into thick paste.
9) Add the tomatoes and onions to the groundnuts paste and grind once again.
10) Now take butter in a pan and heat it.
11) Then add cumin seeds and ginger garlic paste into it.
12) Once cumin seeds are spluttered add the grind paste to it.
13) Add water if you need.
14) Now add turmeric ,cumin,corander,fennel,garam masala and red chilli powders to it and mix it well.
15) Then boil it for 5 miniutes.
16) Meanwhile drain the water from soya chunks.
17) After 5 miniutes add soya chunks to it.
18) Then Add half cup of water and salt and mix it well.
19) Now close the lid and let it cook for 8 to 10 miniuts in medium flame.
20) After 10 miniutes the mixture gets little thick and add coriander leaves for garnish.
21) Soya butter masala is ready to serve hot.
