Ingredients:
1) Cabbage - 200 gms
2) Onion - 1
3) Tomatoes - 2
4) green chillies - 4 to 5
5) Cauliflower - 15 florets
6) Ginger - 1/2 inch
7) Garlic - 3 to 4 flakes
8) Curry leaves
9) Ginger paste - 1 table spoon
10) Garlic Paste - 1 table spoon
11) Urad dal - 1 tea spoon
12) Chana dal - 1 tea spoon
13) Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon
14) Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon
15) Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tea spoon
16) Red Chilli Powder - 1 table spoon
17) Coriander Powder - 1 table spoon
18) Cumin Powder -1 table spoon
19) oil
20) salt - as per taste
21) Coriander leaves
Procedure:
1. Finely chop Cabbage, onion, tomatoes, ginger, garlic and green chillies.
2. Boil the florets and keep them aside.
3. Take 2 spoons of oil in a pan and heat it.
4. Add all chopped ingredients into the pan and fry them until they turn light brown color.
5. Keep the fried vegetables aside, let them cool and then grind them into fine thick paste.
7. Now take 2 spoons of oil in a pan and heat it.
8. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal and chana dal to the heated pan.
9. After they splutter add ginger, garlic paste and curry leaves to it and fry them until they turn into golden color.
10.Then add the boiled cauliflower florets to it and slightly fry them.
11.Add the paste to the florets and add 1 glass of water and mix it well.
12.Now add coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and mix them well.
13.Add salt to it and close the lid and let it cook for 6 to 8 minutes.
14.Then decorate it with coriander leaves.
15.Serve the hot Gobi Chou Colle and enjoy.
